The 2012 release of the always highly anticipated Yamazaki sherry cask, was first bottled in 2009. The whisky is matured in Oloroso sherry casks for between 12 and 15 years. While unknown to most, whisky legend Jim Murray brought Yamazaki Sherry Cask to the masses in 2015 when he named it The World’s Best Whisky.
