We accept returns and offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect upon delivery.
  • The whisky bottle is unopened, in its original packaging, and in saleable condition.
  • The return request is made within 14 days of receiving the order.

Note: Due to the nature of alcoholic beverages, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for bottles that have been opened, partially consumed, or damaged after delivery due to mishandling by the customer.


2. How to Initiate a Return

If you encounter any issues with your order, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at return@realjapanesewhisky.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos of the damaged or incorrect product.
  2. Approval: Our team will review your request and provide instructions for returning the item if applicable.
  3. Return Shipping: Once approved, securely package the product in its original packaging and ship it back to us. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the error was on our part (e.g., incorrect or damaged item).

3. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note:

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • Refunds may take additional time to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
