Tomintoul master distiller Robert Fleming created this small batch bottling by selecting some of their gentle, Speyside single malt Scotch whisky initially aged in Bourbon barrels. The casks were then married and finished in Merlot wine barrels from France’s Bordeaux region, which has brought a lot of fruit and light spice to the gentle dram.
