This bottling of American single malt comes from Santa Fe Spirits. This distillery is located 7,000 feet above sea level in the high desert and utilizes a climate-controlled barrel warehouse to maintain a more even temperature, as local temperatures range from freezing cold to swelteringly hot, with very low humidity. This release was also matured in Mesquite cask- this is a locally sourced timber normally utilised in BBQ and is known as the smokiest of cooking wood, beloved for its distinctive, sharp flavour.
