This is an exceptional expression from Mortlach. Inspired by their first 16 year old release, back in 1992, the ‘Distiller’s Dram’ is a rich Speyside single malt that’s been aged in first fill and refill sherry casks. It’s sweet, spicy and full-bodied, with plenty of classic Mortlach intensity. The Mortlach 16 Years Old was part of three new releases in 2018.
