Metaxa is a classic Greek spirit, first created by Spyros Metaxa in 1888. It’s made by diluting seven year old brandy with muscat wine and Mediterranean botanicals. The result is a sweet and soft spirit, with notes of honey, red grapes and a dash of black pepper. It’s great neat, over ice or with a mixer.
