Mekhong was first introduced in 1941 and is Thailand’s national spirit, named after the mighty Mekhong River, which flows along its border. It is often mistaken for Thai whisky as it used to be called before the more strict rules. It is distilled from 95% molasses and 5% rice, an incredibly popular drink amongst the tourist of Thailand.
