Tracing its origins to 1816, Lagavulin’s peaty character was born when John Johnston and Archibald Campbell erected individual distilleries on the site that would become its home. Following Johnston’s passing, Campbell merged the operations before passing the torch to malt merchant Alexander Graham. Today, Lagavulin proudly perpetuates the artistry of its founders, crafting robust whiskies with precision.
