A smooth and flavoursome Taiwanese whisky from the popular Kavalan Distillery. This 2016 addition to the range has been aged in sherry oak casks that are used for their cask-strength Solist expressions. The difference? This bottling uses Kavalan spring water to bring the ABV down to a more palatable 46%. There are notes of dried fruits, cocoa and cinnamon, accompanied by an oily mouthfeel. A really pleasing dram.
