This is a limited edition release from Green Spot that has been aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, before spending a finishing period in Bordeaux wine casks – a world’s first for an Irish whiskey! The Bordeaux casks are what give this expression its name, as they have previously held Chateau Leoville Barton Saint Julien wine. This is a sweet single pot still whiskey, that’s well-balanced with notes of fruit and spice.
