Introducing a whisky like no other, crafted through an extraordinary collaboration between Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, Dr Bill Lumsden, and the visionary Japanese botanical artist, Azuma Makoto. This 23-year-old limited edition is a celebration of nature’s magnificence, from the subterranean depths to the vibrant tapestry of flora and fauna.
Dr Bill’s bespoke creation is a testament to the natural world’s complexity, blending a long-aged classic Glenmorangie single malt, matured in ex-bourbon casks and infused with the essence of lemon balsam and orchids. This exquisite whisky is then married with Glenmorangie’s first single malt finished in Chardonnay white wine casks from the prestigious Meursault appellation in Burgundy. The result is a symphony of flavours inspired by nature’s intricate beauty, beautifully encapsulated by Azuma Makoto’s botanical artistry that adorns this rare release.
