Forest Gin is a family-created, small-batch spirit created by husband-and-wife team Lindsay and Karl Bond. Their process begins with the infusion of classic gin botanicals, such as organic juniper berries and coriander seeds, into a base of organic grain spirit. Adding a personal touch, they use a pestle and mortar to grind a selection of foraged botanicals handpicked from the Macclesfield Forest. These include wild bilberries, gorse flowers, raspberries, and even local moss, among others. The blend is then distilled through their bespoke copper condenser and brought to a smooth 42% ABV with pure local spring water.
Housed in distinctive English porcelain bottles, each adorned with a screen-printed design by Suzy Taylor, the packaging beautifully depicts a weasel nestled among the forest flora.
