Since its inaugural release in 1966, Dom Ruinart cuvées have remained rare and exceptional, with only 27 vintages unveiled to the world. The year 2010 stands out, marked by a cold winter, an early summer, and a damp August. Following harvest, the base wine tasting revealed the 2010 Chardonnay to be remarkably opulent, hinting at the potential for a remarkable vintage. Crafted solely from grands crus chardonnay, the majority of grapes derive from the esteemed Côte des Blancs region (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Chouilly & Cramant), complemented by a small portion from the northern slopes of Montagne de Reims (Sillery). Aged for no less than 9 years on lees, this release showcases the culmination of time, terroir, and meticulous craftsmanship.
